I have seen Dr. Rejowski for many things over the past 25 years. He is absolutely the best - a wonderful doctor and an incredibly caring person. I went in for a routine physical in March and the doctors found I had a high calcium count. After further testing I received the diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism, which turns out to be at least 1 overactive parathyroid gland. I had melanoma in 1997 and did not handle that well in any way. Immediately after receiving this parathyroid diagnosis my mind started spiraling out of control about cancer and medical issues. I called Dr. Rejowski's office as this is one of his many specialties. He saw me immediately, spent a ton of time with me to help me calm down, did some further testing and determined one of the parathyroid glands had to come out. Dr. Rejowski met with my wife and I a few days prior to the surgery to review the process and answer any questions we might have. It turned out to be a very delicate surgery as it was very close to my vocal cords. Dr. Rejowski did the surgery perfectly. I was out of the hospital the next day and back on my feet very quickly. The pathology came back showing this as benign, which is what Dr. Rejowski said he expected it to be from the first time I saw him about this. He had me follow up with him 2 times after the operation to make sure everything was healing correctly. My voice is completely normal and Dr. Rejowski just told me my blood work is back to normal. I would recommend Dr. Rejowski to anyone - you will not find a more knowledgeable doctor and an incredibly caring man. He is the best!!!
